The location is fantastic. Only 2 minutes walk to the sanctuary. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice size of the bathroom.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Hotel Santa Maria to find that it had a big and spacious lobby. But we were extra surprised at the size of the room and bathroom which was larger than most rooms in hotels in Europe. Even the dining room/restaurant was large and good for big groups. They had a wonderful breakfast spread. And even the food we ordered a la carte for dinner was excellent. The staff were kind, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the Fatima Sanctuary, which is the reason we were there. So it was easy to go to the Sanctuary to pray or attend mass, rosary, etc., go back to the hotel and back again to the Sanctuary. There were a lot of souvenir shops around it.

Perfect location, walking distance to all the highlights of Fatima. Beautifully decorated hotel with lots of space. Underground parking was a bonus. The bedroom was spacious and had an opening window which is perfect for fresh air as opposed to air con all the time.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Is located close to the Sanctuary of Fatima. The staff were very friendly. The room was very big and clean. The breakfast was good. Everything was perfect.

The hotel is ideally located because the Sanctuary and Basilica are just walking distance. Convenient also for souvenier shopping. The hotel felt and smelled clean overall - made me feel "safe". The room, specially the bathroom, was a good size! A lot of choices for breakfast. The staff (sp. one of the ladies - I forgot to get her name - she's a little on the short side, no disrespect here, and with dark hair- I think all of the guests LOVE her because she has such a positive and friendly personality - and greeted us with a GENUINE smile everyday!) was very accommodating. The Christmas eve dinner was also superb!

Excellent Customer Care and good facilities, with spaces to relax and socialise. We were fortunate on the first night to have live classic piano music by one of the guests. Was excellent having our little dogs with us all the time. Thank you so much for the flexibility and attention in every moment, including the Bar Service.
